The Royal Winnipeg Rifles is recruiting now!

The Royal Winnipeg Rifles is an Infantry unit in the Canadian Army Reserve. Members of the Army Reserve are citizens who are paid to take military training on a part-time basis to assist and augment the Regular Force in meeting Canada’s military commitments. The Royal Winnipeg Rifles also support a Regimental Brass Reed Band of 35 musicians.

In addition to their part-time work, members of the Army Reserve can take full-time courses during the summer months, or apply for full-time positions once they have received sufficient training. Members can also apply for postings with Regular Force units engaged in United Nations Peacekeeping duties. The primary trades in The Royal Winnipeg Rifles are Infantry Soldier and Infantry Officer. There are also limited positions available in the support trades of Supply, Vehicle and Weapons Technicians, Clerks and Support Drivers and Musicians.
